An Old Cottonwood Tree...

With lots of charm and character. Taken on the way to a hike in Wild Horse Slot Canyon. This is just another one of the photos put on the "thumb drive" for my daughter's picture frame.

Agree with your assessment of the Cottonwood Tree. Besides Charm and Character, I would add texture.

Miss Jane Pittman was quoted as saying it was OK to talk to an old oak tree. I think this is another tree that you could talk too! Beautiful.

Thank you, Carol. I have not heard that before and I do agree with her...I've been known to talk to my shadow!!

Never saw a cottonwood growing in rock. They’re a wetland species.
