This is one of the small mantis from the Bill (newtoyou) collection that I staged for a focus stacking session as another in the series of profile views.
The setup for this session is the one that I have described in previous posts along with the illumination and diffusion. This image was processed with Zerene Stacker.

I think that all of our insects are wintering down there by you. I suspect that you will find them relaxing on their little lounge chairs wearing their sunglasses and enjoying those little drinks with the paper umbrellas.
