I'm so proud of my wife and wanted to share this picture that she took. She never had an SLR/DSLR until I bought her a Nikon D750 about a year ago. We've been having fun photographing together and I've been sharing with her the basics of the exposure triangle, etc. She took this photo in Monterey of an Egret in flight and I am fascinated with the picture. I've taken hundreds of Egret/Heron pictures with a longer lens and never gotten anything this unique.
Nikon D750, 24-120mm @120mm, 1/400, f/8, ISO 100.

A very beautiful image and certainly one to be proud of!
That is a unique photo. You and she should both be proud.
Beautiful shot. Sometimes the timing makes all the difference. I'm afraid if my wife took up this hobby, she would show me how it's done.

Love the lighting in the photograph! Very nice!
Your wife has a good eye and shot this one perfectly.
Beautiful, jamapq. The bird backed by the water sure worked for you.
