I have found that if you spend enough time outside...once in awhile Mother Nature smiles at you with moments like this one.

I agree! It’s what a friend of mine calls the ”photography numbers game”. Fortunately, I’ve had my share of lucky shots by virtue of the hours I’ve spent patiently waiting and watching - not to mention 3AM wake-up calls to drive a couple of hours to “be there” for whatever bird or animal I’m shooting.
