Does anyone on the list use Arsenal and what is your experience with it if you do?
Thank you.

Was "Arsenal" in the title so the OP can find it?

NO. I do the thinking for my camera.

Good Morning responders. All the person wants to know is he is asking for an opinion. All I saw were snide remarks. If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all.

It’s a waste of money. Bought it through Kickstarter and the few times I considered using it, it required an upgrade. Sony has its app, which allows you to do almost everything Arsenal does except AI. I have no evidence that AI has impacted any image I shot with it. Look at Camranger II if you want remote control.

For $160 it's too much for me to try it when I think it's not good for me. Of course one can't say for sure unless one has already used it.
Looking at the list of features I am impressed with the claimed communication capabilities between the app and the camera. However, the main features like automatically do the settings for me are useless to me.

Yes, I think that's an accurate count.

it looks sort of appealing, but no one seems to use it.

Most of the people who reply say something to the effect of "save your money"

Thanks all for your very kind and totally professional responses.

I ordered the ARSENAL to evaluate. I agree with the direct to the point responder that indicated he liked to do the thinking for his camera. Also, I found it no more functional than Canon's Camera Connect. Not worth the money, in my opinion. It requires your camera be tripod mounted, while the hand held functionality it purports is totally worthless.

I'm returning the purchase.

So, as I understand it, “Arsenal” is an “AI” product. AI, as seen by a Computer Scientist, is a way to make ‘expert thinking’ more generally available; for example, to ‘clone’ the diagnostic abilities of a physician who is known for his ability to diagnose obscure conditions. It has never been clear to me whether you can - or want - that in art, but “AI” seems to be a ‘buzz phrase’ in cameras these days.
