There are far too many individuals who support Trump’s decisions even when those decisions fly in the face of all logic, evidence, and the rule of law. For those individuals, the man is infallible in everything he touches. For those individuals, he cannot lose, even an e******n, because they simply won’t accept anything that is not consistent with what Trump has done, and what he intends to do.
They support the autocracy that he is creating, dismissing all t***hs.
That is how democracies die; and, simply put, they don’t care or are not willing to accept anything else.
If he loses the e******n, despite his personal interference, or interference from Russia, he will be encouraged to remain in office, because that is his mandate, established by him, and enabled by his supporters and a Republican Party that knows no rules.

The Republic is doomed. The last guardrail was the Senate v**e to acquit.
