Shot with my 6” Newtonian riding my Celestron CGEM Mount.
A single 30 second exposure at ISO 1600 at f:/5
This one turned out pretty well including a few geo stationary satellites.

Thank you very much.
I'm pretty rusty but this was a nice night that I didn't want to waste.

Thanks Sonny.
I'm glad you were able to get your AVX replaced with a decent mount.
I suspect it's going to get you even deeper into the imaging long exposure stuff.
Say hi to the Mrs. for me.
Oh by the way, knock on wood, my AVX is still running strong and I just took the head apart and cleaned it up with new Teflon lube. I use it to go out into the booneys to shoot and it still tracks like a champ.

I'm glad you got a good one!
When my AVX went belly-up in November, I was all ready to buy an EQ6-R, while they were on sale.
But I of course had too much time on my hands, and with the holidaze here, it just wasn't something in the budget anyways. (Not according to the CFO, anyway)
Sometimes she cuts off her nose to spite her face.
Given something to stew on, I kept looking. One day, I decided to look at Losmandy. Hey, made in Burbank, CA! Chit, that's only 20 miles away!
Well, you leave me to stew too long and all sorts of stuff comes out. By the time February got here It was all over but the shouting. I called Losmandy and talked to Tanya about coming to the factory to pick one up. That was a Wednesday. Friday was arranged.
She was packing up my order when I arrived. She asked Scott Losmandy if he would put the tripod in the box for her.
He put the tripod in the box, while I steadied the box. What CEO or Owner does that?

I'm having a blast with the new mount. Everything works perfectly, I've nailed down the basic Modeling (S.L. version of alignment), and trying to learn to Plate Solve. (Which has nothing to do with the mounts performance.) In the meantime, I'm just going around finding stuff and being amazed.
I'm using ASCOM to run it, and it is pulse guiding PHD2. Bunch of new stuff to me. But it locks on like a Pit bull to my coordinates and stays rock steady.

The CFO is none too pleased with me. But I don't care. Every clear night finds me out back suckin the light out of the skies. And tonight is a 0% Moon, clear, calm, and sounds excellent.
I actually got a Plate Solve with one of my saved images, so I'm encouraged I might crack that nut.
Here is my efforts so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGA5JQNJceM
This will have you LYAO!
