A couple of weekends ago, in celebration of my wife's birthday, we drove down to Half Moon Bay for an early dinner and then drove down the shore a ways. We were hoping to take some photos but the wind was blowing at thirty-five to forty miles an hour. No one who was not a serious fan of dermabrasion would venture onto the beaches that day. The bluffs presented a different challenge. The gusty wind gave no opportunity to get a really stable footing. We took a handful of pictures apiece and called it a day.
However, there were some really nice waves that day. The rock this one is breaking against stands eight feet above the water.
You captured the power and drama beautifully!
