Okay, finally had enough time after work to post some pictures of the air show I went to about 3 weeks ago. There is no post production so what you see is what I shot. I was trying manual settings so critique away! I was using my Canon 40d and a 70-300mm lens. There was a lot of WWII vehicles and camps set up in display, so that is the reason for the Jeep picture. This was also one of the few stops of the F-22 Raptor! That plane with its vectoring system is one strange bird. I have never seen a plane do the slow air speed maneuvers this can. At one point, it basically stopped in mid air, turned, flopped over on its back and then sped off. One of the greatest parts of the show wasn't even a part of it. I went on Sunday, the last day of the event and stayed till the end. A F-16 Fighting Falcon was leaving to fly back to Colorado Springs I think. When it took off, it was SCREAMING down the run way I think at full power and went straight up. I thought it was gone but it flew around and did 2 high speed, low altitude passes that were just great. The sound and the speed made my day. I would swear he was only about 20 to 30 feet off the runway on those two passes. I had a great day and I hope you like the pictures. I tried to get Downtown Denver and the Flatirons of the foothills in some of the pictures. Feel free to comment/critique. Cheers.

Hi Newfi, thank for commenting. I'm partial to the P-40 obviously (my icon :-) ) Cheers.
Hi PGL, thanks for the comment. I had a blast that day other than my back and feet killing me at the end. Was a 12 hour day all on hot asphalt. Cheers.
Nice shots , thanks for sharing

If you are partial to the P-40 then later today when I can get to my computer I'll post a few pic's you might enjoy if you don't mind. I'm doing this on my iPad. Tony Banta is well known in the WarBird Community and is based out of Livermore, California. He has a great looking P-40 as well as a beautiful fully polished P-51 in the same yellow checkerboard paint scheme as the one in your photo. He is also having a Spitfire built. I love shooting aircraft and you do it well. Very nice sharp photo's. Don't want to high jack your thread but you'll like the shots.
Great pics! I especially enjoyed the T-28's as I did my first carrier quals in one as a Navy pilot many years ago.
Good Show!!! Enjoyed them!!!
