I did no pp other than a tiny tweak in PS Elements version of ACR. This is such a novelty, I included the screen prints I welcome your critique.

#2 might go to the Facebook "Create 52" group next week. Theme is to match a poem and photo. I'm not into poetry, but I am into Beatles' song lyrics. The flying birds were added and I may delete them.

Thanks for your time!

This is the pre-set; I often forget it's there and hardly ever change, preferring to dabble with Nik Collection and other filters.

That's a fantastic photo, Linda. Keep the "Blackbirds".

Good eye as usual and good choice of lyrics. The blackbirds are good but the triangular formation looks a bit contrived. I won't mention the sun because I have a sneaking suspicion you've noticed it's blown .

I can erase a bird or two; thanks for pointing that out, R.G.

When there is little to no pollution, haze, humidity or cloud cover, it's impossible to not blow the sun. If you have a trick, I'm listening; however, I do like my dramatic lighting and weather

Many thanks!

Are those the same blackbirds that were singing in the dead of night?

Beautifully done, Linda.

My Blackbirds comment was more veiled, but that was my exact thought.

The sun doesn't bother me. The birds do. This may sound odd, but the suns position is tangent to the lower chord of the golden segment, which seems to have an unnecessary tension. re cropped to a 4x3, and giving up a little sky eases that tension.

I often barely "get" the unveiled, so you will have to be more direct next time

Unless I remove some from the right side also, I'm not sure I can do it in 4:3. Here is the birdless version; would you show me when you get a chance?

Many thanks Mark!

I will keep that in mind. And I like the blown sun. That's exactly how it appears when there's no haze to filter the light.
Just a thought; how about a smaller aperture to create a sun star? Of course, you could add that in post.

George Harrison would love it!
Inspired choice of lyric!
Could tweaks be suggested?
Always!
But impact just as is is awesome!

( a Beatle’s fan...and particularly of George Harrison!)
