That Bottlebrush is a weeping variety and is so pretty when in full bloom. I try to visit it every spring. I also have several Bottlebrush shrubs in my garden. Out front I have a dwarf variety called Little John and in the back I have much bigger ones. They are supposed to be slim but I was looking at them yesterday and they are far from slim. The hummingbirds and butterflies really like Bottlebrush.
Yeah, there's quite a few cultivars of callistimons now.
Where I am down here, they attract New Holland honey eaters and wattle birds.
No problem! It was particularly beautiful on this day. Do you ever hear anything from Jim(JWT) since he went to Texas?
We corresponded by email for a while, he seemed to have settled with his family while waiting for a new house to be built. He posts on viewbug and his last post was November 2019. You have prompted me to send him an email, thanks Carol.

Let me know if you hear from him. I miss seeing him on here! Hope all is well with him.
