Thank you, Michael. I’ve been here so long snow is only a faint memory or something I see here on UHH.

Thank you, Sylvia. Didn’t you go to Gemini Springs when you were here?

No problem! It was particularly beautiful on this day. Do you ever hear anything from Jim(JWT) since he went to Texas?

That Bottlebrush is a weeping variety and is so pretty when in full bloom. I try to visit it every spring. I also have several Bottlebrush shrubs in my garden. Out front I have a dwarf variety called Little John and in the back I have much bigger ones. They are supposed to be slim but I was looking at them yesterday and they are far from slim. The hummingbirds and butterflies really like Bottlebrush.

Yeah, there's quite a few cultivars of callistimons now.

Where I am down here, they attract New Holland honey eaters and wattle birds.

I like that the wildlife enjoy them but also appreciate how beautiful they are when blooming.

We corresponded by email for a while, he seemed to have settled with his family while waiting for a new house to be built. He posts on viewbug and his last post was November 2019. You have prompted me to send him an email, thanks Carol.

Yes we have. We can only hope that isn't the case here.
