I thought bubbles were round, but not always, apparently. (iPhone 11 Pro, with Sandmarc Macro Lens)

Great eye and great shot. It looks a lot like a white board in an Organic Chem lab.

That is neat. The surfaces of bubbles are fluid, and so they can not be round if they are pressed against something.

I like that, it may be an interesting subject to persue.

Geometric bubbles! An excellent, thought provoking observation.

The pressure inside a bubble is greater than the pressure outside. The smaller the radius of a bubble the greater the internal pressure. When one has a network of bubbles (foam) that the pressure between cells tends to equalize thus the surfaces between cells are planar. Just a bit of physics.

I truly like it..! Macro photography revels things in a way that are not commonly seen. Keep them coming.

Thanks! As luck would have it, I’m developing a bubble/raindrop theme. Here is one—not totally macro—that is the back of my car covered in freezing rain. This is mostly about color..

Thanks! Unfortunately, I think I was gazing out of the window when this topic was covered in school. But there are other weird bubble shapes, I’ve noticed. This one came from washing out a bottle of mouthwash (It was originally blue but I changed it to b/w). Bizarre.
