Interesting. In the short video it only shows it going in a straight line, never around a corner or curve. I’m guessing handling isn’t its long suit.

Just one of several unique custom "motorcycles" from Brazil. My motorcycle also has a 6 cylinder engine, although it's about a third the size of that one, and no doubt is far more comfortable and no doubt handles a whole, whole lot better. What Mr. Marques has built is a one off piece of impractical but functional art.

Mine had 6 cylinders, too. Loved that Gold Wing GL1800.

I'm on my 4th Gold Wing. My first was a 1998 GL1500 followed by a 2004 GL1800 then a 2013 GL1800. My current one is a 2018 Gold Wing Tour. It's smaller, lighter, faster and gets better gas mileage than the 2013, not that I ride it like a sport bike, but you could, it has a sport mode. I usually have it set to econo mode for around town and back road riding and tour mode for highway riding. I tried sport mode once and frankly it scared me. Way to quick for a bike that big. It also has rain mode but I don't ride in the rain anymore.

My first Wing was a ‘91 1500, then I had ‘93 1500SE. When we moved to Idaho I bought an ‘01 1800 from a guy in Lincoln, NE who had too many of them, and then a new ‘05 1800. I sold it in January of 2012 with 85,000 miles on it when we moved back to Alaska. I later regretted having done that because I had an offer from a friend to store it at their place until I could fly back come summer, pick it up, and ride it back to Alaska.

The yellow one is mine and the red one was my wife’s. She was a hugely good rider. We did ride them like sport bikes. Amazing what those bikes could do.

My wife tried my 98 Gold Wing once and decided it was too big for her. She learned to ride on a Honda Rebel and graduated to her current bike, a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD. She enjoys riding on the Gold Wing's back seat and letting me do all the work.

When my wife decided she wanted a Gold Wing, she was riding a Suzuki 650 Burgman scooter. We were meeting some folks for a ride and while we were waiting for them, she asked if she could sit on my 1800 Wing and maybe test out the clutch engagement. I said sure, she got on, fired it up, let out the clutch and was gone for nearly 20 minutes. She came back with a big grin on her face, and asked if she could get a Gold Wing. And then we had two in the family.

My wife wanted to get a 650 Burgman to replace her Rebel. Problem is, she has physical issues that effect her balance. It wasn't much of a problem with the Rebel because the bike is physically small and light and really easy to ride. I originally bought the Kawasaki 500 for one of our daughters but she decided she didn't like riding on roads with trucks. When she pretty much stopped riding I took the bike back. I put outrigger wheels on it, I call then training wheels, and gave it to my wife. With the outrigger wheels her balance problems are no longer an issue. She likes riding her bike and has done an excellent job of mastering it. I've ridden it a few times and to me it feels quite unnatural. You can only bank about 10 degrees and when you stop there's no need to put your feet down.

Not only that - it seems not to have a clutch or foot shifter...or even brake levers -

Hope he never leans or moves back onto the rear wheel. Not much room or any protection there.

I’ve never understood the hubless wheel thing - what is the advantage? It appears the lack of ground clearance and the flat tire profile would make cornering a dicey proposition.
