My first bag was a white diaper bag, flip top and water proof. I carried it for years and no one tried to steal it. The bag and the old used SLR I had wore out at the same time.

My Second bag is the bag I carry on short day trips when I don't think I'll be using more than the 50mm or 18-55.

Don't usually take all this gear when hiking....but rope is a must...for tricky heights and rock climbing...
Red bag is what I generally use and pack with essentials..And, of course, my Cannon 70 D!
Also umbrellas, and lighting kit, back drops,remote shutter..
