These shots were taken this past Tuesday in Northeastern Arizona. The horses are a small herd of wild horses west of Heber.

Yes, you are correct. I found that out when I first visited Flagstaff, AZ. I was accustomed to the western region of Arizona, like Phoenix. Where the temperature in the summertime, can reach a 103 degrees. Very nice photos.

Many years ago I was traveling back into Arizona from Utah in April. Got to Flagstaff with the idea of stopping for dinner & a motel. It started snowing & we decided to just keeping on moving south. A really varied state.

Nice! I need to do more poking around in northern Arizona when I’m there.

Really nice shots. FYI 103 is considered a cool day in August in Phoenix.

That's the joy of AZ. If you don't like the weather, just drive for a hour or two! (In any direction!) The Heber/Overgaard area is recovering nicely. Have they caught the people shooting the horses?

Nice images.

Beautiful photos of these horses. I worked for a summer many years ago in Whiteriver - people do not appreciate that northeastern Arizona is an alpine paradise. I hiked Mt Baldy several times, one time camping out near the top and seeing what appeared to be the whole world by moonlight. It was an awesome experience.
