Just going through the introduction to the camera and quick set up guide I am truly intimidated. This camera seems more complicated than the Apollo Command Capsule! I will be learning for a long, long time I'm sure.
First, another note of praise for KEH. The camera was graded EX. I cannot find any wear, scratches, or really any sign the camera has ever been used before. It is truly, as the kids say, awesome! Although I have only made about six purchases from KEH, every single one has impressed me with the quality of the item. Even the Tamron lens that was graded UG(ly) was impressive for its quality. Perhaps, someday, I may open a package from KEH and not be stunned but right now I can't think of a single thing other than praise. I am so thankful to have found them. It is just a wonderful company with which to do business.
And I want to thank the UHH member who first recommended KEH.
Okay, back to it. I'd like to make an image before the day is over.

Yes, KEH is very good. My K-30 had a shutter-count of 3. I'm surprised you are having so much start up time. When I got the K-30 from them, I took my first photo within an hour.
It's not that complicated. And especially for work with studio strobes, the D300 is nicely set up.

KEH is my “go to” etailer. My last acq there a few months ago was a Tokina 100 mm f2.8 Macro. It was graded “bargain”, indistinguishable from new.
They have a great rep here, and imo, well deserved. Lets hope some bean counter doesn’t gain control!
