What would induce anyone to buy this camera ? I have a mk1 and may or may not buy a mk2 down the line if price is right but I question whether the improvements of the mk3 justify the cost. The M43 community do not seem to be overwhelmed....

Big difference between the em1 and em1ii (I used to own the EM1). The EM1iii vastly improves performance over your em1. I loved the original em1, but the C-af was dismal on it. The IQ of the newer sensors is also much better. But if those aren't issues for you and if you haven't worn out a camera that was released 7 years ago, then by all means stick with what you have.

Yeah, I know the M2 is a vast improvement over the M1. I was pretty much looking at the 2 vs. the 3. As much as I really love Olympus the Canon R and its future offspring are looking better and better. Oh well, who knows..... I am not tied to anything but my lovely, understanding wife.
