It looks to me that light is reflecting a small water droplets either bouncing up from the pool are coming from a little fountain either way it looks like water droplets reflecting light.

Good post, if we had seen the bird in the first image it would have been obvious to most of us. I like it, very good image to make me use my little bitty brain this morning.
