Boy do I resemble that remark, and I do so like to stay home or wander the woods by myself and take pictures now.

I was a Coastie on a couple of 378' Cutters. Some of the flight ops were like this. (1969-'73)

The Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise games ain't got nothin' when it comes to excitement and action-packed time at sea. To have experienced pitching deck ops is a memory that is still vivid now 50 years later. Go Navy!

I have "done time" on three Tico class cruisers, two carriers, and one supply ship. The most fun I've had in rough seas were always on small boys. There is nothing like carrying your food from the chow line to the mess decks walking on bulkheads.

My wife always wonders why I don't want to go on a cruise. I keep telling her it would be boring without the 12 hour watches, flight quarters, GQ, ECCE, and Unreps
