A Sunny day and old farm equipment; all we are lacking is a Bettie Page Homage? Voila!

A brief glimpse of last Summer, as an antidote to all this Winter weather.

Interestingly, the photographer, Bunny Yeager, was responsible for the Bettie (Betty) Page iconic image.

Indeed, a homage.

Maybe you can photoshop the girl out of the picture!

Kinky even for Miss Bettie Page! Nicely done! And thank you for spelling her name correctly!

Thanks! We were very definitely aiming for "Kinky Bettie, down on the farm". That "outfit" was so kinky weird, it seemed the only option was to take it outside, and present it, totally out of context. And yes, Names are Important.

Thar’s a really neat old Ford tractor! Wish there was more of it in the shot.

Sorry, but I felt, for this concept to work, I needed to relegate the tractor to the background prop role. I will look through the series and see if I can find any where this tractor has assumed a more prominent role. By the way, did you see the hint of the second tractor, in the far right background?

Sorry, if I had been properly diligent, I'd have mowed the lawn and moved the tractors into the most favorable position for this quite challenging light. Unfortunately, laziness ruled, and I quite liked the foreground grass effect.

Actually, this is very nice. The red outfit really helps her stand out, and she is lovely.

Thanks! Brianna is a beautiful and extremely talented Model; always happy to experiment with new challenges. This weird & garish outfit would have been a challenge indoors, but worked in bright afternoon sunlight. Playing with green, red, white, and flesh tones is challenging, but also rewarding when it (almost?) works.

Agreed 100%. I've collaborated on more shoots with her than any other US Model.

Wow great model!

The changing color of the light from shadow to sun, her face to bum, is certainly a challenge!

Thanks, she is a Great Model!

I accepted the challenge of the light; I find that hot, bright sunny afternoons can be fun to shoot in. It's not easy lighting, but it does give the natural light photographer the chance to use natural reflectors, diffusers, and shadowing, to help with the effects.

I could have also cheated a little with fill-in flash and reflector panels... but in this case I didn't. I think I got away with it?

Wow, those farm girls are sure wearing different work clothes than when I was growing up. Nicely done.

Thanks. And Yes, but real Wisconsin Farm Girls are always up for a costume challenge.

Interesting--the setting looks very out of place.

Absolutely agreed. That was the concept; when I was shown the "Costume", the only thing I could think was, "That's way too weird for a Boudoir Concept; let's take it outside and find a totally incongruous setting!"

Thanks, we always try to make any Homage realistic, refreshing, and most importantly, respectful.
