Saw part of that debate, last night. Bernie really is out of his mind
Certainly not up on economics and psychology. But then neither are the others on the stage.
The thing that got me a few debates ago when they all raised their hands to give free Medicare to i******s. Most of us paid into it our whole lives with no benefits, and now pay $144 per month for our benefits...plus supplemental insurance. Since many of these candidates are on the special government system they are clueless!
The sad thing is how through the f**e news media they have clueless youngsters v****g for the free stuff. They need to go to Cuba or Venezuela to see how well that works.
But, he has a following...scary

I'm not sure what this has to do with our photography forum, but not only is Bernie "out of his mind," they all are. Any moment I expected to hear them argue that photography must be taxed by the pixel to pay for this or that nutty program. But then I had the tuner in my hand and switched to watch a Honeymooners rerun where humorous "reality" abounds!

Free stuff is an easy sale.
Note none of the Dumbocrats have a way to pay for the free stuff and many have explicit plans to send the economy into a depression.

It's in the "General Chit-Chat (
non-photography talk)" area.

Nothing. It is chit chat.

Opps, when I saw this, it was in the list of new stuff. Thanks for clarifying.
Its interesting how different social media platforms reflect groupthink.
I follow /. and Reddit because software development is my profession. There the group is almost unanimously Democrat and socialist oriented and pretty much 40 and under. That group is desperate to escape the college debt trap.
Other platforms like UHH seem to have an older crowd that are more moderate or conservative.
An unintended consequence of machine learning and AI technology is that we are targeted with messages that reinforce and exaggerate radical thought. This is done to encourage us to spend more time online and consuming other media. Even the news media falls victim to this because the reporters themselves are targeted.
It's a shame that a moderate cannot survive in today's political environment because both extremes left and right inevitably lead to decline.

But political discussions belong in the Attic.
