I was photographing the morning rush at my feeders and one of my favorites, an Audubon's Yellow Rumped Warbler came to visit. It was sitting on a branch after a raid on the suet & I could see this shot developing! I KNEW takeoff was imminent and pressed the shutter button just right to get this shot. Everything felt so good as I realized it was just right, ever have one of those moments? They are rare for me , lol.

Oh sure I know it is not a perfect shot could be sharper but it was handheld through a double paned window in low light so my settings were Iso 6400, 1/1250 sec, f 8, and 250mm zoom on my Canon Rebel T1i. I only had one chance as I was also set on one shot only instead of the usual multiple shots. Any way enjoy it for what it is! Thanks

Good one..."takeoffs" are always tricky because the bird not only flaps wings but leaps into the air, so a lot of high speed movement. We like!! 1/2000th wide open might have helped...but the leaping part is tricky!
