Hi I just found this HDR section tonight and I'm so glad to see something exclusive to it. I think I might be leaving the Photo Gallery and hanging out in here more often.
Here are some of my most recent photos from the trip we took to South Dakota. They were taken with 3 exposures at -2, 0,+2.
I hope you enjoy any C & C welcome. 8-)

That theater would be crazy not to buy those shots. Wonderful. I want to go there now!
What program did you use to process these?

Welcome Biker Chic. Not many members come here.
Sorry for being curt as I am trying to get off work - it's 9pm! Been here more than 12 hours.
Image 1 - Composition is not the best. Problem with the highlights. There is curvature of the verticals most probably from a very wide angle lens. Both can be corrected in photoeditor. Lovely colours.
Image 2 - Wonderful shot of a wonderful building. I have a love of architecture. Beautiful colours. Darken the sky and correct curvature. Clone out the wire against the sky.
Image 3- The image is 'soft' and highlights need dampening down. Also a bit of curvature. Lovely view of the interior.
Keep coming back.
Good work. Chinaman's critiques are "right on."
I give all those who post photo's a big Attaboy for being able to cope with all the critic's they receive. It seems that after a picture is posted is when we find we have overlooked the artist within.

Hi,
I used Photomatix for processing thanks for your comments. ;)

Thanks Chinaman,
I processed these before I started my webinar with Terry Ratcliff and I can see things I would have done differently now in just 3 lessons. I appreciate your comments; not curt at all; and strive to learn.
I didn't use a wide angle lens I have the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera that I used for the shot's. I want to look at the original again to see if the wood is warped or it somehow fish eyed.
I noticed that wire  as soon as I loaded it and yes I would remove it for sure before any printing. Thanks for reminding me. I want to run these through again with the information I have learned from the webinar and see if I can fix the issues.
But for just running them through once in Photomatix and no Photoshop afterwards I think they are alright.

I think posting is the best way to learn. I feel it helps develop the artist within to see others point's of view. Some I take and apply some I don't but all input helps, at least for me. :P
P.S. My artist within, right now; is just an infant and it's HUNGRY for knowledge. I work at an office where I deal with numbers, statistics and data all day (boring). Photography is a great escape for my creative side and all I want to do is get better.
I really like how the last two are processed, that's my kind of hdr.

Hey thanks,
The last one makes me want to go flop down on one of those cushie couches with a good glass of Port and a fat cigar
Good job on the processing. I agree with Chinaman. If you make those changes then they will be even better.

Hi Biker Chic
It's not the wood that is warped. If you look at the building shot, the right side is curved. I feel this is a lens effect.
Loooove number two and three especially!
