The first one in this set is a quilt that was made by my Great Aunt (she gave me the love of quilting). She made a quilt top for each niece and great niece. This was the last one that had not been quilted. What an honor to hand quilt this 50 yr old quilt. Very humbling experience.

Sorry Ken these are already gone to various organizations... Quilts of Valor, Veterans Hospitals, Children's Hospitals, etc. These are a sampling of the ones I have made. Thanks that really is the ultimate compliment

WOW! Ggia, these are absolutely gorgeous! Stunning. Guess what, Danilo knows me well, ya think???
I love them all but the horse one would go so well in my
beige-tan guest bedroom in my horsey decorated house!
I can't say enough about these. The recipients are very blessed to have such treasures!
Thank you so much for sharing these with us.
HUGS!!!!!

Thanks Jo, I honestly cannot remember how many quilts I have made and who they have gone to, but there are always those certain ones that tug at the heart strings and make you remember.

Those are are awesome Lois. And I know quilts.:) I sat down in AK with my Grandmother many nights helping her quilt! 30 miles from no where makes you do funny things.:) I have 6 of them we made together. She also taught me to tat, crochet and some needle point.:) I was 6 the first time I went down to stay with her. I have used the one I made to the point it is falling apart. Janny calls it my Charley Brown blanket.:) But it is heavy and feels so good on cold nights.:) I will get a shot of it and show you. You brought back some good memories. THANKS!
Erv

Thanks Erv, I am happy to have brought back wonderful memories. Grandma's are great, just ask Janny! I would love to see your Charlie Brown Blanket! Someday I will get around to posting the ones I have kept for me.... some of them are pretty tattered, they have been loved deeply by the grandgirlies!

It takes a desire to create something with love to give to another. It is a God given talent and I have never sold a quilt in my life, but have given many and Lord willing I will be able to continue for years to come. Thanks for your comments.
