I absolutely love this photo.
Very good, Saxman47. It's a very interesting scene, and the B&W work is good. You picked a great location--the painted tree, the street lamp at the edge, the bold tracks across the front--so many interesting elements. Is it typical of the neighborhood? And, by the way, where is it?

Great example of being in the right place at the right time and you handled it excellently. :-)
For a second there I thought I was looking at a black guy in a skirt and heels on a bicycle. Naw, I need more coffee, but you almost had me
. Great shot!
This is "downtown" Ashland, Virginia, about 10 miles north of Richmond. Ashland is the home of Randolph-Macon College and has a very active railroad depot.
You got the skirt and heels right, AZNikon, but he is most assuredly white. The pumps are bright red, BY THE WAY.
Thank you, macmama. He has a music device of some sort attached to the bicycle and it is pumping out tunes like "In The Summertime" and he is just celebrating life, and if you don't like it, that's your problem. I found him quite entertaining and took several pictures.
Nice legs for a guy! And he's wearing MY HAT!
Great photo with several interesting things...gal on the bike with heels and the clock in the tree on the side of the bldg.
