The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex serves millions of ducks and geese each annual migration but it is also the home of many year round and seasonal guests. A few more from the last two days of 2019.
All good but #1 is outstanding!
Very enjoyable series, Phil. All are winners.
Once again, all great, Rockdog, but the first is surely on some calendar somewhere... someday!

Hi, Phil,
Thatโs a great portrait of the golden eagle!
I canโt recollect ever seeing one perched among such an aggregate of branches before! For me, thatโs a remarkable and very different view of the species! But then, where Iโm used to seeing them (high plaines and the Eastern slope) there are few trees that seem to provide the sorts of views that their usually chosen lofty rock prominances provide.
Dave
These are excellent, Phil. I love the otter and also the sweet little Grebe.
Excellent set, Phil! That otter shot is unique.
