Does anyone have experience with this lens? I was just in Yellowstone and a lady had one and said it was excellent on her Canon 5D MIV. She used it with a 1.4 converter and even said that was good. Just looking for anyone else with hands on experience!

Consider renting one to get a feel for it.
No hands on experience here. But I have seen the Imatest numbers and it is very close to the same as most of the 150/200-600's. IMO, the biggest issue is the weight 8-(

I replaced my Sigma 150-600mm Sport with the 60-600mm Sport last August. Love it! Its shorter, lighter, more range, fast focusing, and has slightly faster stabilization. I pair it with my Z7 body primarily.
Last Halloween I went to Teton Park with this one lens/one camera combo to see what it could do. Got some great off season shots.

The 150-600 Sigma Sport will provide better results. A birding friend uses one on a D810 and he finds my 150-600 to be sharper at 600mm. Haven't tried it myself with the Sigma TC, but the Nikon TC doesn't work and the Kenko Pro can work but it does adversely affect AF performance, and a 840mm lens is hard to hand-hold.
Though there is something to be said for giving up a tiny bit of image quality for the convenience of having a 10X zoom.

I've had the Sigma 60-600 for about a month now. I use it on both the Canon 5D Mark IV and the 90D. It's a very good lens.
I don't think the Sigma 60-600 is quite as crisp as the Tamron 150-600 G2 (which I used for several years), but I'm still trying to decide about that. Where the 60-600 shines for me, though, is in close-ups. Since I use this lens in the field for nature photography, I never know what subject might appear, or where. With the Tamron, I usually had to take several steps backward, away from a nearby subject, to get it in focus even at the "wide" end of its zoom range.
With the Sigma, though, I can get very close to a subject, maybe as little as a foot away, up to about 300 mm zoom. With that, on the APS-C 90D, I can pretty easily fill the frame with a close-up subject!
If you're using this lens hand-held, you will definitely want to shoot at a high shutter speed. The image stabilizer is great, but I still use a minimum shutter speed of 1/1200 second. (My normal settings with this lens are 1/1200 sec, f/7.1.)
I agree with the suggestion of renting the lens first to try it out before you buy it. It's a heavy beast, noticeably heavier than the Tamron 150-600, which I used to affectionately call "the Boat Anchor." They don't call it the "Bigma" for nothing.
Best of luck!

Sigma 60-600 mm lens at 328 mm, f/11, 1/1200 second, ISO 4000, on-tripod, Canon 90D. Subject was about 3 feet away.

Thanks for the info. I have the Tamron 150-600 and not real thrilled with sharpness on 90D.

I was thinking on Safari it would be nice to not have to switch lenses or cameras around. The lady I met with one said it was sharper than her Canon lenses...

Have you tried a Tamron 1.4 on the 100-600? I’m not terribly impressed with the Tamron 150-600 G2 on my 90D or 5 DMIV...
So far not really impressed with the 90D either, anyone else? Seems grainy.
If we are comparing, I have the Tamron 150-600 G2. Use it on Canon 7D mkii. Great images, but heavy for hand holding for BIF. Not impressed with the Tamron 1.4 though so either for the piont of view of AF ( acts as f8) or IQ. I do not use it.
