At this moment the most likely winner of the democrat primary is Pete Buttigieg (SP?). His only executive experience is mayor of a small insignifigant town of only 100,000 residents. Southbend ,Indiana. Is he qualified to be president?

I am not a homophobe but just an honest question? Do you really think America is ready for a homosexual for the office of POTUS? I'm not so sure about that.

The liberals will see that as a high qualification and v**e for him because of it.

I doubt it.

Don't get me wrong. I grew up in the 60's and 70's when "anyone can grow up to be president" was a common mantra among parents and teachers. But it seems to me that those days are so far in the rear view mirror that it's laughable.

I think these days you need to have the bulk of your "team" together and that tends to be rather large. If you rely on the party to help you fill spots then is it really "your" presidency? I think JFK had a great deal with his brother as AG. He knew that he wasn't ever going to lie to him and I'm sure that worked both ways. I think you'd want to have someone as a sounding board before you get called into an impeachment process for being too candid on the phone.

I doubt Mayor Pete has a large enough and sk**led enough crowd that he knows. Trump knows lots of people and he's already made more than a few personnel mistakes. Scaramucci comes to mind immediately.

I doubt it just like I don't think there will be a Jewish president.
But never say never

The average income of a South Bend resident is $19,818 a year. The US average is $28,555 a year. - The Median household income of a South Bend resident is $34,656 a year. The US average is $53,482 a year.

Is he qualified to be president - I don't think so.

The Democrats are working way too hard to re-elect Trump.

LWW asks: "Just saying what?" and "Is a trumpet what?"

Man, you are slow.

I thought you had gotten past your ridiculous terse comments that, in your mind, are designed to get the poster to whom you are responding to question his remarks. Apparently not.

So you really don't understand the comments, do you?

Don’t h**e me because I’m literate.

My point was to show that the comment I questioned was rather maroonish.
