Very nice. I've been trying to get Whooping Cranes but nothing yet.

If you are ever in the vicinity of Corpus Christi in the winter and would like to find Whooping Crane photo ops, let me know. I'll try to help you.

They will head back to Canada somewhere around April, maybe May.

Thanks very much, I appreciate the offer. And you never know, we travel full time. We lived in Corpus Christi while in the Navy and went to Port Aransas several times. We saw Whopping cranes but never close enough to get decent photos.

Here's a few more photos I've taken of them in the past. All with a Canon DSLR, using a 100-400mm or a 500mm lens.

Excellent set of images! Very nicely done. Whooping cranes can be difficult to find and photograph.

Nice outing. You are going to love this camera. I only wish I had my sony RX10-4 10 years ago! Keep shooting.
