Nicely done. My question is how did you add the clouds?

I looked at that mountain all my life and never taken that good of picture. I even have the same lens. Very well done!

Strikingly beautiful. I can imagine it wall-size. And I don't usually go for BW!

Beautiful!
You did it, you captured the "texture" of the mountain.

Hi Keith, thanks for your interest! I have a few photos of clouds and skies that I save in a folder to use as "texture" or composite layer. I can double-check my exact steps for this one, but here's a how-to topic you can look through:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-576592-1.html

If you know how to work with layers it will be fairly easy. Many people are now using software that add the sky for you. With color photos, if there is bright sun and shadows, you need to match time of day, angle of sun and the color of light; otherwise your result looks wrong.

If you are new to the joys of post-processing, please visit us in UHH's specialty section:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-116-1.html

Let us know what software you use and your experience with processing, and we can help you with most anything Many thanks!

Thanks so much, Bill! That lens, like my previous Canon 18-135 mm, is such a versatile zoom. Was fun to discover that this Panasonic is 1/2 the length and 1/3 the diameter of my Canon

Also, for clarity and interest note the shadows: low angle of sun from the side.

Thank you Jimmy! Shot in June, it requires leaving the house around 5:30 a.m. to get that low angle of sun. And as I mentioned to Paul, you don't know if she will be "out" when you get there

Very nice Linda. The exposure is right on and it has a lovely visual design.
The conversion to b&w is perfect.
A great shot.
