So far this year I have been

1. taken to emergency room for what turned out to be vertigo
2. again to ER...thought appendicitis ...was abdominal hematoma ...from coughing

And just now

3. Found out my 'sore eye' is from closed oil gland in my eyelid...need to use eyelid cleanser twice a day....who would have thought there was such a product...'SteriLid'

So there ya go....I turned 59 in August ....LOL

My Grandpa used to have a line, "It's heck getting old" (only he didn't use the word heck)

Then my Mom started using.

I never quite understood what they were referring to. . . .

Now I know.

I bought my new Hyundai Santa Fe in 2001. I had a 100,000 mile, 6 year warranty and it was the best car I ever owned.... until the warranty ran out. Then it seemed I was putting in another $500-600 every time I turned around. I started to complain that it was falling apart and was nothing but a piece of crap. But I kept the car and things started evening out. I've had it 11 years now and I'm back to believing it's the best car I ever owned.

Moral ... do the maintenance, and you'll be surprised how she holds up for you.
