I like the concept, but, the smallish plant suggests “whimpering against the sun”. Could the plant be larger, and perhaps encroach a bit defiantly on the periphery of the sun?

Gotta agree with you, Dave, the plant IS a bit dainty for celestial combat. And your suggestion is understood but... being lazy, it's easier to change the title: how 'bout, "Going gentle into the dying light"? I'm sure Dylan won't mind... and save me the trouble of lugging about that f/2.8! Certainly enjoyed the banter, Dave- THANKS!!
