My response was to the original post and anyone else that is bored by sunset shots. I have taken hundreds of sunset shots and the only boring ones are my failed attempts to capture the green flash.

I have had more success with my iPhone XR than I’ve had with a 5 grand Niko

You would have to achieve proficiency with that 5 grand Nikon which you don't need for the phone in order to get better photos with it.

The cell phone is like a point and shoot - no skills required. In order to get better photos with the 5 grand Nikon requires a learning a lot of skills.
