Went on a local swamp tour this week. Surprisingly, a few friends were out to meet us!

I really like the turtle. he's very cute. I don't know how you folks live with 'gators. I'd be terrified!

And I'd rather encounter a gator than a bear in Northern AZ! LOL!

Absolutely! $20 for a 2 hour tour. Better in spring/summer. Critters more active. I did see a Great Blue Heron strike and catch a bass. I did not react in time for a clear photo.
I may add a few more pics of the day later!

Actually I've only ever seen one bear -maybe two - in northern Arizona. But I have to admit Mama Bear had triplets and we spent the night in the van. But it was fun.
