By this weekend I may be trading this in if I have not sold it by then.
This lens fits Canon EF (full frame or crop sensor model EF-S), and it's a fast zoom + macro lens. The spiel goes like this, "The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR is a superb, versatile, general purpose lens and it travels well thanks to it's excellent form factor. It's a great option for users wanting high quality images and flexibility without being weighed down unnecessarily."
This example is truly in like-new condition. It comes with caps, hood, and original box and documentation. No, it does not have IS/VC. In pictures, you'll see my favorite brand/model of UV filter on it: a HOYA Pro1 Digital MC UV[O]. (For the moment, the UV filter is off the lens for the possible trade-in. If you want to pay less for the lens, I'll keep the filter, and you can save $20, meaning Tamron price drops to $245 + shipping.
I really like this lens, especially on my crop sensor Canon (60D past, T6s now). However, I'm making a trip to Antelope Canyon in early March, and I need to find a way to purchase a quality lens in an even wider view than my 24-105 L offers, let alone this 28-75. And since I already have this range covered by L lenses I purchased after this Tamron, I find I'm seldom using it and it has become available to "cash in."
