There is a group of dedicated folks in San Diego that rescue dogs from Mexico. We adopted Zoey from them in NOV at four months old and 24 lbs. They think she's some kind of terrier mix. Now at the end of JAN she weighs 44 lbs. and still growing. Our 10 year old rescue cat, Jewell, had to teach Zoey some manners and she learned quickly who rules the roost. All in all it's been a fun challenge and working out well. chase
