Another beauty, Rick.
I was backpacking with my brother in this area several years ago. Actually it was more hiking, we were using pack-goats. It was early in the year, late March early April with a lot of snow still on the ground.
We were watching a herd of elk and all of a sudden a wolverine popped out of the trees, crossed the creek and disappeared into the trees about 75 yards away. First and only wild wolverine for both of us. I know, I know, the Colorado fish and game say there are no wolverines in Colorado. There is in fact, at least one, no doubt in my mind.
