Thanks. We're always looking for a good movie to watch. My Dad's parents immigrated from Italy, although my Mom was not Italian. What a wonderful group of people my Dad's family was. Eight siblings and a bunch of offspring. Great Sunday dinners and holidays!!

If you have not watched "Green Book" you should consider watching it.
It is very good and well done.
My wife is from the Old Italian culture shown in the movie so we doubly enjoyed it and discussed her growing up in a similar environment in Jersey City.

I hope she learned how to make that good Italian sauce!! My Grandma was from Calabria and hers was not tart at all. Very tasty but it didn't bite you back!!! Nobody has been able to duplicate it. Of course, she made it for 70 years!!!

My wife is a fabulous Italian Chef. She is a trained chef and ran a couple of casino restaurants while living in Vegas before retiring.

Steve,

I'm not Italian, from good old NJ, 83 and I think my bolognese is excellent. Not just my opinion - many concur. I usually make it in a 16 qt. pot and freeze in quarts.
Happy to provide recipe for UHHers. Actually, it's my mother's recipe.

Ciao,
Mark
