Hope it wasn't my cousin Jeffy...haven't seen him in a while...and he was getting a little plump...great shots of that satisfied guy!!!

That croc looks happy
and newly fed
hope cousin Jeffy
hasn't lost his head..!!!

And oh so helffy,
And I hope he didn't

Hurts real bad

Looks like he might have had too much cornbread and buttermilk! This is one happy but lazy critter, Merry, and you captured all his charm!! I hope you used a very loooong lens!!

lol...i'd say buckets full of cornbread and buttermilk, donna. oh he was such a charming feller. I was not close to him...I didn't trust that smile at all. thank you for looking at the big fellow and for your entertaining comment!

Tex, if I made you smile, that makes me smile.
The surroundings look very natural. The cypress bole and knobs are what one would expect in a southern coastal marsh.
Crocs are primarily salt water creatures.
I had caimans, a smaller, invasive species of the family. One was four feet long. I cannot stress how dangerous these things are, even small. Had to euthanize it when it got a friend who was warned.
He held a rat to it and, well, obvious results. Their demeanor belies how fast they realy are.
Lastly, in download I see numerous white feathers. Last meal?
