I loved it when we were there. Sunset is much more intense than sunrise. The closed nature is to climbing the rock (or as the natives call it the "pebble") Anyone can go to see it. Like anything, if left to the public, they would climb it until it was just a pebble. It is a religious icon of the native people. It is fine with me that I got to see it and flew around it when we were there. It is magnificent.
