One A Day, Day 158.

So, I got Pattycumcakes to take off her glasses.

Yes please! Riding crops!

Quick help explain on the set, there is a wide aluminum mesh screen in front of a black backdrop. Soft boxes in front. To the sides to the rear are non-modeling light flash tubes creating flare and read/side lighting. Also some nice black nylon rope hanging from the ceiling.

Yea right, not the usual lighting, so what? Have some fun in the studio. Try new lighting concepts. Life can be fun if you let it.

Me, I just can't say how much I really love the expressions on the models faces!

The theme,
the idea,
or are you saying your a bigot who thinks that Pattycumcakes is too dark skinned? She is a US Citizen, at the time of this shoot, she was a US Army solider, born in the US, her mother is from the Dominican Republic, a protectorate of the US.

C'mon! Am I the ONLY one who hates this crap? If the administrator likes this, perhaps he should start a new section called pornography.

It would be simpler to boot you off, just saying, but then I don't want anyone to leave, just have some fun, that is what most of us are doing.

The admins are busy enough. I know they are here monitoring. I have screw up making posts and they have let me know and I correct what I'm doing.

Perhaps this is all in good fun, nothing really odd going on, other than people trolling their narrow views. Also, may be you could post some work to share with others on the Hog Forum, that is what I'm doing, just sharing some work I do and enjoying the posts of others.

The pictures need to be lightened. This was not a comment on the theme or models. The ladies are very pretty.

The images here altered as to density by way of the <CURVES> in Photoshop. These are the final out takes and are the densities that I had visualized for the set. The dark moody, garish quality of the images are essentially as I planned the images to look. But thanks for your opinion, it just does not concur with the way I visualize the final images.

Of course on monitor to another (or a thousand others) may display the image differently.

No, my friend, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

The normal course of events for negative critiques is that new commenters of his work get one or two nasty responses from Tim, after which he simply ignores the comments, good or bad. He does not accept anything but accolades, and only from the handful of followers who delight in his displays of perversions. There is no room for debate on the merits of his work -- he says it is art, and therefore IT IS ART! Exposure, focus, lighting, clutter in the background are EXACTLY as intended; no room for interpretation or suggestions for improvement by anyone else.

Actually, I think you are part of the relatively silent majority.

C'mon, Timmers, you knew rck281 was talking about the photos' exposures. There was no need to dump that racist stuff on him. He was just trying to help.

It's called communication, or lack there of. rck281 does not get photography, how am I suppose to 'lighten' the photograph? Really, I need to hear from any of the arm chair technicians because I sure don't understand what is the point of this 'lighten up the exposure'. So I'm all ears, how would any one 'lighten up' the exposure? By the way, don't start in with you need to use <CURVES>, this image has curves applied to it and I set the range of image density exactly where I wanted it, given the reality of the fact that I am the creator of the work.

Strong response, yes. I am tired of these silly empty headed mind numbing silly opinions. So with the close of this I will go back to just ignoring such tripe, if it's all the same to the suggestions that insult my intelligence and skills.

Tim, I don’t know how much to “lighten” the photos because that is personal preference. If you like them as is because you created them then that’s fine. But others have their own opinions and should be allowed to express them without admonishment.

This situation reminds me of things we did as kids doing the, “What’s this?” quiz.
- solid black square? A black cat at night.
- solid white square? A snowman in a snowstorm.

See, those exposures were perfect... just the way I wanted them.
