Jesus is missing

Two little brothers Tommy and Bobby where always getting into mischief when their mother told them "If you don't stop misbehaving, I am going to take you to see Father Harrold", sure enough they continued to misbehave. True to her promise the mother took them to church to have a talk with Father Harrold. After telling Father how bad they had been, Fr. Harrold says "I can handle this", So he takes Tommy the eldest of the two to his private office and while sitting behind his desk, he asks Tommy "where is Jesus?" Tommy does not move nor does he say anything, so Fr. Harrold again asks with a stern voice, "Tommy, where is Jesus?", again Tommy sits still and does not utter a single word while staring at Fr. Harrold. By now Fr. Harrold is getting impatient and comes from behind his desk and kneels in front of Tommy while looking him directly in the eyes and raising his voice he again asks Tommy, "where is Jesus?"....Tommy leaps from his chair and runs into church while grabbing Bobby by the arm and races home as fast as they can and crawls under their bed and says to Bobby "Jesus is missing and they think we had something to do with it".

Amen!

Strangely enough, there is no mention of Jesus in the 2012 Republican platform either. Several mentioned of god, but god is such a generic word that it can refer to Allah as well at the christian god.

Usually "God" is the term used, when used by either party.

Even the benediction prayer at both conventions lacked the use of the name of "Jesus."

Though God's Word teaches:

Jhn 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Jhn 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

Jhn 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

ZzZzZzZz...

Let's see if it works. JESUS, I beseech you to get this woman to stop quoting biblical verses to those who don't care what it says in that old book.

There, that should do it.

For people who profess to be Christians, it should be important.

You could have ignored my post.

Well, at least you didn't post any more biblical verses! God does work in mysterious ways.

Ignore your post? Why would I have done that?

Apparently you can't read or comprehend very well as nothing in the joke was about politics.

Who would take their young boys to father Harrold and let him take them behind closed doors in this day and age with what has been going on ?
