... Consider the new Apple Mac Pro Workstation. It uses Intel Xenon Microprocessors for up to 28 Hyperthreading cores for 56 threads. Nice it has 1.5 TB of RAM and (12 physical DIMM slots). All for $47k. The base model is a mere $5k. Makes you wonder what Lucas, Disney, and Marvel Studios did with out one.
Any comments from UHH members? Just Google "New Apple Mac Pro". Personally I'm a PC guy and I'd rather spend the $47k on a Medium Format 100MB Digital Hasselblad or 100MB Fujifilm GFX Camera. Actually for $47 one could buy four Fujifilm GFX 100 cameras.

I doubt that Lucas, Disney, or Marvel Studios still use Macs as there was no decent Mac Pro available after the release of the black tube Mac Pro. But this is a beautiful and very well designed Mac Pro though still priced higher than an equivalent Windows machine.

You did not understand that I was being sarcastic about the product. A $47k Mac is crazy. How many gaming PCs could one buy for $47,000!

The fanboys and fangirls are all ready saving their money, considering a second mortgage on their homes, divesting themselves of almost all of their camera gear, deciding on a fair market price for their firstborn, the arm, the leg and anything else that might get decent money . . .
