P**********l Oath of office.

The American Presidency. The Oath of Office: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The swearing in of the President requires the President to uphold the Constitution. Should the President witness someone violate the Constitution, it is his responsibility to report that violation.

President Trump did find that a former Vice President did, in fact, pressure a foreign country to give his son a highly lucrative position in order to receive a large sum of money from the United States. That quid pro quo was illegal.

If President Trump let that act slide, he would be in violation of his oath.

If he investigated, he would be impeached.

Something seems amiss in this situation.

Nice theory (not really, but I'm trying to be polite), but do you have any facts?

I gave you a copy of the President’s oath of office word for word. Adam Shift’s t***slation of the phone call was “Do ‘me’ a favor...” in fact President Trumps words were, “Do ‘us’ a favor...” meaning the USA.

If you haven’t noticed, Trump has in fact been impeached.

thom w, you of all people should know that the left doesn't use facts, they make them up as they go along.

If Biden is thought to have done anything illegal, he should be investigated.

If evidence is found that he DID anything illegal, he should be prosecuted.

In this respect, he is no different from anyone else.
