Harlem is a neighborhood in NYC in the northern section of the borough of Manhattan. Many of the streets are adorned with posters illustrating African American life. I took the liberty of photographing the people and then moving them in front of these posters. Comments welcome.

my comment. I order to make a great photo it is important to have a great background. The background can add to the image or take away from the image. In this case it adds to the image. Nice job.

Really nice job of photoshopping the people in front of the backgrounds in such a way as to tell a story. Well done!

Nice job of photoshopping ... if I were you I'd park my butt in any one of those three locations and I'm sure I could come away with some excellent street shots, without the need to photoshop.
Not critiquing what you did, just envy your canvas. I worked for almost a year just down from Washington Square and if I was doing street then I would have been out shooting every noon lunch break. (didn't have a camera back then).
