Nice one. BG is OK I think, but if it were me, I would use a decent editor and maybe add some blur to the BG, which is easy to do.

A decent editor? I use LRCC, PSCC, and On1 Photo Raw 2020. It that's not decent, there's no hope for me.

I don't mind the background one bit as that is where bruisers like this one hang out much of the time. The buck is absolutely beautiful. I would eat him. Well done.

Wow...what a majestic animal..! A fellow could hunt a lifetime (hopefully with a camera) and never have one like this come by. If you're lucky you may be able to find the shed antlers if you scout for them and they would truly be a great conversation piece to go along with that photo.

Thanks guys for your comments. At one time, I hunted these guys with a rifle. No more. I now use a 500mm lens.

That is a very impressive shot. He shows great personality and pride in your photo. Few others capture those attributes to that level..
