Two Eagle Shots

I am happy to report that the eagles are back in their nest and it looks like they are tending to eggs. Altho I cannot see the eggs, there is always one eagle present in the nest and that means ... egg(s). In the second photo, the top eagle is about to fly off while its mate is about to settle down to keep the eggs protected. Both photos are at about 100 yards with the Nikon 500mm PF lens.

Yes! Last year I kept tabs on the growth of the chicks. I was hoping to be around when the parents finally coaxed the kids to fly, but alas I was not.

They make HUGE NESTS and I am always impressed by their ability to do so.
