I have been in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the past several days and have just loved it. Here's a few frames from this city, all shot in the past 4 days. Hope you enjoy!
Wonderful shots. I think Discovery, Conde Nast, Afar, National Geography, & more travel magazines would love to have these pictures for advertising trips.
Some great perspectives, color ligh on boy, etc. Not crazy about the pincushion effect.
Actually, it isn't pincushion, but convergence. If it were pincushion, it would bow outward at the top and bottom of the image and be significantly drawn in toward the center of the image, or visa-versa, depending on the lens design. Big difference, but I understand what you're saying. I did do the corrections in Photoshop, but just didn't like the crop or the appearance after the correction, which I typically do for buildings. I like it as is though and really just shot this for my personal enjoyment. Thank you for your comments.
Saw your interesting comments about gray market cameras and that you currently live in China. So I thought I'd see if you posted any shots recently. Glad I took a look. These are superb. I pass right on by most of the posted images in the photo gallery. But every so often there is something posted here that is really good. I look forward to seeing more of your shots in the future.
