Good day all. I have loved taking photos all of my life, but since retiring have gone 'all in' and have been committed to learning the art of photography, the science behind the equipment and the techniques and to be competent at what I am producing. Without becoming too sappy, I just wanted to say that I've been reading the content daily for some time and that many of you who contribute are truly knowledgeable and are an inspiration. Your understanding of all aspects of the art and the profession are remarkable. You've softening my learning curve tremendously and I thank all of you for it. You are also the nicest forum Ive been exposed to with minimal egos, mature feedback and appropriate humor. I hope to contribute meaningfully one day.

Make no mistake about it, UHH is a tremendous asset to the photography society at all levels and you have some of the greatest photogs on the planet ready to advise and truly wish you great success! Not all of us are pleasant so overlook the trolls, etc. and don't get caught up in their nonsense. Welcome and post some pics when you feel comfortable.
