As anybody here used them? Are they any good?
I have a 50 for my Canon SL1--it takes sharp photos.

You get what you pay for. I have an 8mm that I bought for fun/ Best of luck.
I have a 12mm (Samyang, Chinese for “same thing”) for my Sony a6000. I bought it for landscapes, specifically waterfalls. It is manual focus, but at f8, practically everything is sharp. You can use an app "Digital Depth of Field" to check DoF, distance and f/stop. No regrets.

Yes, I have used them, yes, they are good, and like I have said many many many many times, it is not the equipment, it is the photographer.
With that said, I still prefer my Nikon lenses to Yungnou lenses.
I have only tried the 50mm. I have 2 Nikon 50's, an AI 1.4, an AF s 1.8 and several others, including A Helios 50 and a Helios 58 (I love both of those BTW) and a couple of 55mm micro Nikkor autos. All I can tell you is that if I owned the Yongnuo, it would never even leave home, let alone leave my bag. That said, it would make a decent image. In the hands of the right photographer, it can make a really nice image.
I shoot 6DMKII and 7DMKII, used the 85mmf/1.8 yungnou lens. It's a nice lens and it doesn't bust the bank either. Takes nice photos and well worth the $$$ you pay for it. I would say a nice lens but not pro quality for sure.....
I say go for it and have fun shooting with it....good luck, enjoy.

I used a 40mm on my Df. The IQ was ok, but it was cheaply built. I purchased a Voigtländer Ultron 40mm instead.
My 50mm 2.8 is sharp and loud when focusing

I had a 50/1.8, used it once and threw it in the trash!
I have a 35mm in Canon EF mount. It works beautifully.
I bought mine used on CL so for $20 it was well worth the money. Is it a Nikon lens, no, but for $20 it was worth it. Works well for me.
I have the 12mm in a Sony e-mount for my FX-5. Works great, is everything I expected and for a great price. I would have no problem with buying their products for my Nikon if I needed any.
